Living Maps Network Reading Groups

Due to the large response to the call for expressions of interest, two reading groups on critical cartography are set up to supplement the seminars. They will meet monthly with Group A meeting on the second Wednesday of each month starting on January 11th and Group B on the last Thursday of the month starting on January 26.
Participants don’t have to know a whole lot about the field –indeed the point is to explore areas we don’t know much about, as well as to share information and engage in lively debate.
The group will decide on which texts to read, and this might include some of the classics, as well as little known and overlooked studies, novels and poetry, as well as academic works. Each group will decide on its own reading trajectory.
