East London Big Flame Reunion (ELBF invitees only)

Coming together in East London in 1972 this non-hierarchical group of political activists embarked on a multi-faceted political project that found autonomous room to engage with both struggles in production and reproduction. The strong feminist leaning of this group ensured that issues of workplace exploitation did not obscure the subjective and relational costs of capitalist social relations. For the last year MayDay Rooms has held material deposited by ELBF members. Tonight MDR is pleased to host this group’s reunion gathering and website launch. Future events and activation processes are planned.
