In this meeting we will talk about female representation in music videos and the impact of mainstream culture in our society.

Because most of male artists videos are sexist, we will focus on videos by female and queer artists to analyse their image, message and the stereotypes represented.

The 15M London Women’s Assembly is a woman only collective which arose from the London based 15M movement, a movement made up of Spanish migrants disenchanted and angry with the corruption and the economic and social outlook of their native country.
The Women’s Assembly was formed three years ago, we meet every two weeks to debate and we also organise free workshops open to all genders. The Assembly is a safe space for feminist reflection, debate and dialogue. http://asambleademujereslondres.org/
