UNDER THE MOON AUDIO SESSIONS

the UNDER THE MOON AUDIO SESSIONS.
The idea is to collaboratively record a podcast inspired by the Moon meetings we have had so far. There are a few different ways to get involved:
1 – you could speak in response to one or more of the texts we have looked at so far.
2 – you could read from one of the archival documents held at MayDay.
3 – you could contribute a sound piece (music or speech or both) on the wider theme of the marginalised utopian impulse.
These are just some suggestions; ideas for other types of recordings are very welcome!
We were thinking to focus the recordings on the Moon sessions that have used archives from MayDay: Red Therapy / Woman on the Edge of Time; Anna Mendellsohn’s prison poetry / NEPA News; Greenham Common; The Argonauts / Wages for Housework. We will be doing some preparatory archival photocopying at MayDay Rooms in the afternoon on June 10th – come and join us!
Otherwise, come for the recording session on 19th June FROM WHAT TIME? We will eat together in the evening: feel free to bring some food and drink contributions, but we’ll try to bring enough to share. If you have an idea for a contribution that might need some prep, let us know in advance, but it’s fine to just turn up and improvise.
