ADORNO READING GROUP: THEORY AND PRACTICE

Adorno’s Negative Dialectics brings us up to the threshold of a metaphenomenal understanding of the human animal. The growth of a standardised pedagogy for mapping out individual and social understandings began with the human animal’s ability to speak and read, so to speak, and settle. That was made the humanist animal project, again, only in the 14th to 15th centuries when the 80/20 rule of largish populations was understood. i.e., the Renaissance. Adorno understood that, but not how, the humanist animal project had gone off the rails and set out a metaphenomenalist anti authoritarian understanding which we will discuss together.
This is a reading group hosted by Dr. Bill Thompson, an architect and Quantum Philosopher. It will focus on Lectures 11-25, updated to contemporary understandings of biology and cosmology on a non vitalist secular basis.
