Archive Open Day: MayDay Rooms + June Givanni Pan African Cinema Archive + Statewatch Archiv

After the success of our first Open Day in November, we decided to join forces with June Givanni’s Pan-African Cinema Archive and Statewatch Archive to open the doors, not to one, but three archives for a full Saturday!
This is a great opportunity to browse our collections, learn more about the work that JGPACA, Statewatch and MDR are doing, as well as connect with others interested in archives and archiving. We will be hosting two tours of the archive at 12 pm and 3 pm followed by a tutorial on digitisation. June and Chris, archivists from JGPACA and Statewatch will be there on the day to give you an introduction to their archival holdings. There will also be snacks and refreshments available in our communal kitchen in the afternoon (feel free to bring something) – so please stick around for a chat and a drink.
