CARAT: De-coloniality Open Concourse

The CAFA Archival Resources Action Team (CARAT) is co-organising and hosting in the MayDay Rooms (MDR) from Thursday, 27th to Saturday 29th August 2015, a Decoloniality Open Concourse (DOC)

  1. The British Museum in Peoples’ Decolonizing Spectroscope (BM-PDS), 27th August; from 2pm to 5pm; at the British Museum, Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3DG; followed by Observer-Participation in the “1492 Resistance Continues” Planning Meeting of the 12th October Platform (TOP) at the Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London SE1 8XX.
  2. Decoloniality Open Surgery Drop-In Conversations (DOSDICs) and the Consciencist Open Decolonizing Dialogue of Pluriversality Spaceflight (CODDOPS): on Friday 28th August; from 3pm to 9pm.
  3. Videoperiscope and Popular Educational Round-Table Reasonings on Viewpoints of Decolonization (PETROVOD): on Saturday 29th August, from 2pm to 6pm. Followed from 7pm to 10pm by SANKOFAABENG@RROVER: the Carnival of Resistance Reasoning Kaleidoscope Space (CORRKS) for a special Intergenerational Grounding with Claudio Jones and other Black Scholar-Activist Freedomfighting Sheroes to herald, reclaim and promote the popular educational renaissance of the Notting Hill Carnival in to the biggest Black Power – regenerating Carnival of Peoples’ Internationalist Solidarity Resistance in Europe!
