An afternoon for the discussion of some recent political events in the UK, framed within the larger swamp of far-right and revanchist mass movements worldwide. Short presentations will focus on the relations between several contrary tendencies: racist and authoritarian developments in the British state and society; recent independent migrant labour struggles; and the relationship of communists to Momentum and ‘Corbynism’. This is a closed meeting.
