Effective Altruism

This introductory workshop will explore some of the research that has come out of the effective altruism community in recent years on what are the most effective ways to do good. We want to cover some of the difficult questions that need to be asked in order to have a huge impact, such as: How to choose a cause? How to compare disparate issues? How to measure the importance of different actions? And so on.
