‘El sindicato latino’ – the history of the Latin American Workers Association

An initial meeting for members and supporters of the former Latin American Workers Association (LAWAS) to reflect on the history and legacy of LAWAS. How can we keep that legacy alive? We will discuss the creation of a LAWAS Archive which a group of ex members has been organising with Mayday Rooms, and a new book chapter on the history of the Association in its second phase (2002-2012) based on this documentation. The meeting will be primarily in Spanish (interpreting on request).
