“India’s Revolutionary Inheritance” Book Launch

This event celebrates the launch of India’s Revolutionary Inheritance, a new book by Chris Moffat which traces the enduring political potential of the anti-colonial revolutionary Bhagat Singh (1907-1931) in contemporary South Asia. The historian Faridah Zaman will introduce the book, followed by a short presentation from the author touching on the afterlives of radical struggle and their disruptive work in a post-colonial world. This will be followed by a reading by the Punjabi poet and essayist Amarjit Chandan and general discussion.
