Shifting the Focus from the Super Poor to the Super-Rich
March 13, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm GMT
Shifting the focus from the super poor to the super-rich: open discussion about climate change and economic inequality.
The research conducted by PIK [Postdam Institute for Climate Impact Research] shows how climate change are related to the economic inequality in our society.
The talk and the discussion began in a framework of a project A4kids Lab “What is wealth?”.

and the article published in Nature:
“Carbon mitigation efforts often focus on the world’s poorest people, dealing with topics such as food and energy
security, and increased emissions potential from projected population, income and consumption growth. However,
more policies are needed that target people at the opposite end of the social ladder — the super-rich.”
