Stop Killing Londoners – Cut Air Pollution

“Stop Killing Londoners – Cut Air Pollution” is a new direct action campaign in London demanding an 80% reduction in air pollution by 2018. The government authorities have been in the pocket of private corporate interests for too long and allowing illegal levels of pollution to continue – which now kill 10,000 people each year in London alone. This campaign is engaging in short peaceful sit downs on the most polluted streets in the city to draw attention to this national health emergency. We are building a city-wide network of local community groups to campaign together. Come and find out about the campaign at this open Film and Food evening. We will be showing videos of our actions – bring food to share with others – and there will be an opportunity to discuss with others how to take the campaign forward and get involved in making it happen.
