Two Days of Feminist Discussions: Day 2

Two days of discussion organised through a reading group that has been meeting since Autumn 2012 to discuss materialist/Marxist feminist texts. Our motive has been the lack of alternative spaces to discuss issues of gender in the collective open way we have been doing in these past years. We also look forward to a situation that allows for the possibility of introducing new topics that are not restricted by specific texts. The idea is to take our collective engagement to the next level and in order to do so we have extended the scope of these days to new interlocutors, hoping that this will allow us to explore the range of views and ideas among us. We hope that this event will help more of us to establish new regular spaces to reflect openly about gender and sexuality, issues that can be difficult to voice in other contexts.
