We Recruit: Out of the archives and onto the streets

A textual and typographic workshop using archival material produced as a result of section 28, a law passed in 1988 refraining ‘local authorities and schools from promoting homosexuality or the acceptability of homosexuality as a pretend family relationship’. The workshop, with a group of 16-25 year olds who identify as LGBTQ*, will seek to create and explore new visual manifestations and interpretations of the material to understand and interpret the law and its legacy.
