Antiuniversity Now: PDF to Paperback

A wide range of books are freely available on the internet as pdfs, legally and otherwise. This workshop will give you all the skills you need to print them and bind them into readable and lendable books. Learn how to prepare your documents for printing and how to perfect binding, then design your own cover! The same technique can be used for making blank sketch books and notebooks.
If you’re interested in attending the workshop and you have a pdf you would like to print bring it along, but if not we can find one together.
Michael Whitby is an artist and activist that organises workshops, makes films and publications.
He has been organising Retreat, a residential workshop for artists, since 2008 and was part of the associate study program at Open School East in 2015. He lives and works in London.
