Seeking a new trustee


We’re looking for committed trustees to join our board. Join us in shaping the future of our archive and organisation! 

MayDay Rooms is an archive, resource space and safe haven for social movements, experimental and marginal cultures and their histories. Our building in the centre of London contains an archive of historical material linked to social struggles, resistance campaigns, experimental culture, and the expression of marginalised and oppressed groups.

We are particularly interested in applications from people with the following skills and experience:

  • Finance and fundraising, 
  • Political and social movement history in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, 
  • Community Outreach, Education and Events,
  • Libraries and Archives, 
  • Charity Governance

If you would like to apply for the role of Trustee you need to send a CV, a short covering letter (no more than 500 words) explaining why you would like to be a trustee and what you would bring to the role.
